Terms and Conditions


Registration:


By making a reservation, you are entering into a binding accommodation contract. We reserve the right to correct obvious errors, such as printing or calculation mistakes. Special requests, conditional bookings, and verbal agreements are only valid if confirmed by us in writing.
 

Deposit and Payment:


For online bookings, payment is made by credit card, EPS, or bank transfer. The full amount is due after the cancellation deadline. For direct bookings by email or telephone, a deposit of 50% of the package price is due no later than 10 days after booking. The remaining balance is payable by bank transfer 14 days prior to arrival. Any additional charges will be settled on-site. The deposit and final payment amounts are detailed in your booking confirmation. Payment can be made by credit card or via bank or online bank transfer using a SWIFT or IBAN code, saving you the high costs of international transfers. All bank charges are the responsibility of the client.

Alphubel SF SA reserves the right to debit any outstanding amounts or costs for damages incurred after departure from the credit card on file.

If you wish to pay by bank transfer, please transfer the total amount to the following account, quoting your booking number, no later than 14 days prior to arrival:

Special Conditions / Notes:

  • Cribs including bedding are provided free of charge for children aged 0-2 years. These must be ordered in advance and noted on the booking confirmation. All apartments are non-smoking: Please do not smoke in the apartment. Smoking violations will be penalized with a fine of CHF 1,000. Maximum occupancy limits apply as per the apartment description on the website.


    Pets


    Pets are not allowed in the apartments. If this rule is violated, we reserve the right to charge a processing fee of CHF 200.– as well as any additional cleaning costs incurred.

    Arrival:


    The rental properties are ready for occupancy from 4:00 p.m. The guest has the right to use the rental property, including its inventory and utilities. The guest is responsible for everything belonging to the rental property. The guest is obliged to report any defects or damages that occur during the rental period immediately. Upon departure, the property must be returned by the guest in the same condition as it was found upon arrival, i.e. all furnishings in the same place, refrigerator and cupboards emptied, dishes and pots cleaned and free of food residues, etc. The guest is liable for any damages caused by them or their companions, with the burden of proving absence of fault resting with the guest.

    The rental property may not be occupied by more persons than indicated in the booking confirmation. The stated maximum number of persons also includes (small) children unless otherwise agreed with us. In case of over-occupancy, Alphubel SF SA has the right to refuse additional persons or to charge extra accordingly.
     


    Departure Days:


    The rental properties must be vacated by 9:00 a.m. at the latest and left in an orderly condition. Please return the key to the restaurant. We kindly ask you to remove the bedding in the holiday apartments, take all waste to the designated collection point, wash all dishes and store them in the cupboards. Apartments left in an unacceptable condition may be subject to an additional charge on top of the agreed final cleaning fee.
     

    Cancellation:


    If the guest cannot begin the agreed holiday, they must notify Alphubel SF SA as early as possible. Cancellations of reservations and reductions in the number of participants or duration of stay must also be communicated to Alphubel SF SA as early as possible.

    The following cancellation terms apply:
     

    • Free cancellation up to 5 days before arrival.
      After that, the guest pays 100% of the package price.
       
    • During high season: free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival.
      After that, the guest pays 100% of the package price.
       


    High season dates:
     

    • 20.12.2025–02.01.2026
    • 31.01.2026–27.02.2026
    • 28.03.2026–06.04.2026
    • 25.07.2026–14.08.2026
    • 19.12.2026–08.01.2027
    • 30.01.2027–26.02.2027
    • 20.03.2027–29.03.2027


    If the agreed rental period is not fully adhered to, the full package price for the agreed duration is nevertheless payable. In the event of late cancellation or no-show, the full package price will be charged. Changes of dates are considered cancellation and rebooking. For adjustments after confirmation and deposit payment, Alphubel SF SA reserves the right to charge a processing fee of CHF 50 per change.

      If Alphubel SF SA withdraws from the contract before the start of the trip (due to force majeure such as war, strikes, or damage to the rental property from accidents, fires, water damage, or similar compelling reasons), all paid amounts will be refunded immediately; further claims are expressly excluded. If the booking is canceled by Alphubel SF SA after the trip has begun, only the costs incurred up to that point including ancillary costs will be charged; the rest will be refunded.
     

    Cancellation Insurance:


    We recommend taking out cancellation insurance together with the booking. Alphubel SF SA assumes no liability towards the guest during the rental period.
     

    Liability:


    No liability can be accepted for service disruptions outside our control, particularly in cases of war, strikes, natural disasters, etc., or for disruptions relating to transport, supply or disposal (e.g. water, power, access routes), especially if such disruptions are caused by force majeure or local climatic conditions.

      You have the right to use the rental property, including its inventory and utilities. You are responsible for the inventory, furniture, holiday apartment, and the building belonging to the rental property, and must exercise due care. Any possible damage or defects caused by you or your companions during the rental period must be reported immediately to Alphubel SF SA. You are liable for such damages or defects and must compensate for them during or after departure, with the burden of proving absence of fault resting with you.

    Alphubel SF SA assumes no liability for theft or similar incidents.
     

    Fire Emergency – Fire Alarm:


    Each apartment is equipped with a fire blanket and an information sheet explaining how to act in the event of a fire. Guests are asked to study this information and the indicated escape routes upon arrival, and to act accordingly in case of an alarm or emergency.

    If a fire alarm is triggered and the smoke detector is activated, the fire department must be notified immediately by calling 118.

    If a false alarm is triggered due to negligence and the fire department (118) is not notified immediately, the guest is liable for the fire department's efforts with a flat fee of CHF 400. This fee will be charged to the guest. In the event of further material or personal damage, the guest is also liable if the false alarm or fire was caused by negligence or fault on the part of the guest.
     

    General:


    Otherwise, the provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations apply. The place of jurisdiction is Brig. These conditions are part of your reservation and your accommodation contract.
     

    Price Conditions:


    For children's prices, the date of birth at the time of arrival applies. All prices include VAT.
     

    • Winter tourist tax adults (from 16 years): CHF 4.50
    • Summer tourist tax adults (from 16 years): CHF 7.–
    • Winter tourist tax children (6–15 years): CHF 2.25
    • Summer tourist tax children (6–15 years): CHF 3.50
